For rigged animals, the artist’s skeleton and a side overlay expose misplaced joints inside the same model; red and blue are artist limb and body joints, orange comes from a mark, and grey comes from the shape. Mostly no. On the ten rigged animals our tree finds the artist's limb joints well only on the chimpanzee (0.70 found, 1.00 of its points on a joint) and the gecko (0.75 / 0.81). Elsewhere it has the right limbs but its points sit away from the shoulders, hips, knees and ankles (dog 0.14 / 0.11, elephant 0.25 / 0.47, eagle 0.25 / 0.24), and the body is a few very large balls where the artist has a spine. For the AI animals there is no skeleton, but beside their pictures: the flamingo's neck and legs are right; the agama's legs come out as short stubs instead of long bent legs; the scorpion's tail is straight where the picture curls it up and its pincers are not separate. The cause is the carved shape: the red dots are mostly on the right joints in the pictures (the "dots alone in 2D" numbers under each row), but each is snapped onto the centre line of the shape carved from the four views, which runs elsewhere where the views merge or hide limbs.
